The Sky Above Brooklyn –The Philosophy of the Sublime reminds us that the reality we experience is only a small part of a much bigger picture. It invites us to deepen our awareness, moving beyond the influences of social media and the narratives of our time.
Talks and conversations feature Fred Moten, Sarah Lewis, Edwidge Danticat, Edwin Frank, Christian Lorentzen, Darryl Pinckney, Alissa Quart, Hamilton Nolan, Manil Suri, Bhaskar Sunkara and performances by Laurie Anderson,DoYeon Kim, and María Grand & Shakoor Hakeem .
